Oversee and manage mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works for construction projects.
The role covers project execution through testing, commissioning, and handover.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise MEP activities and coordinate consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Review MEP drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Monitor progress, manpower, materials, procurement, and installation activities; resolve technical issues and cross-discipline clashes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, local authority requirements, and applicable standards.
- Manage testing, commissioning, inspections, final handover, project costs, variations, and subcontractor performance.
- Prepare progress reports and ensure timely completion of MEP works.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 10 years of relevant MEP experience in construction and proven experience managing MEP works on large-scale building projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and ELV systems.
- Good understanding of MEP drawings, specifications, project planning, and site coordination.
- Experience managing subcontractors, consultants, and project teams.
- Knowledge of relevant local authority regulations and approval procedures.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project planning software.
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
