Responsibilities
- Design, review, and optimize mechanical systems and components to meet relevant standards and client specifications.
- Develop and interpret technical drawings, perform engineering calculations, and coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide technical input to procurement; monitor installation and maintenance; troubleshoot mechanical issues on-site.
- Prepare reports and documentation, improve engineering processes, and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support safe, efficient project execution.
Qualifications
- Strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge and practical experience in mechanical systems.
- Proficiency with CAD tools and strong analytical skills for problem-solving, design verification, and performance evaluation.
- Effective communication and project management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field; professional certifications or registration are an advantage.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, MEP, or industrial projects is preferred; fireproofing, coating, MEP, or industrial maintenance experience is beneficial.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards such as ASME, API, or ISO, and commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
