Leads development of research capabilities within Fakeeh Care Group through policies, procedures, training, and collaborations.
Supports disease registries, grant-linked training, and regulatory accreditation while improving research talent and processes.
Strategy, policy, and compliance
- Establish the research capability unit’s strategic roadmap and develop SOPs and infrastructure for ICH-GCP and regulatory compliance.
- Create medical research policies, IRB guidelines, scientific evaluation standards, and medical writing support guidelines.
- Develop policies for registration and accreditation with SNIH, RDIA, AAHRPP, and other relevant bodies.
- Oversee biobanking systems and disease registries.
Collaboration and capacity building
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration across group units and with external stakeholders; represent the group in national and international partnerships.
- Promote multisite research projects, assess research skills, design training, and increase the pool of qualified Principal Investigators.
- Collaborate with HCM and Fakeeh Academy on career development and establish recognition and compensation mechanisms.
- Maintain communication between the research capability unit, IRB, and CFGO; promote research initiatives internally and externally.
Special projects and post-trial services
- Lead grant-linked training programs, disease registries, biobanking systems, and volunteer research assistant programs.
- Develop research management system proposals and assist with manuscript preparation and presentation of findings.
Experience and education
- At least five years of clinical trial management experience, including CRO and operational leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Clinical Research Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Science, Medical Laboratory Sciences, or a related field.
Skills, language, and certification
- Excellent English proficiency; Arabic is preferred.
- Clinical trial management certification such as SOCRA or ACRP is advantageous.
- Leadership, team-building, communication, collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
