The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Supervisor joins the operations team to maintain equipment availability through preventive maintenance, breakdown response, and continuous improvement.
The role requires leadership and hands-on expertise across electrical and mechanical systems in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead safety culture and ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Supervise and support maintenance technicians in meeting operational and maintenance objectives.
- Execute and monitor planned preventive maintenance across site equipment.
- Respond to breakdowns, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate timely resolution.
- Maintain equipment reliability and availability for operational teams.
- Manage maintenance activities through the CMMS and respond to maintenance requests through ticketing systems.
- Coordinate and supervise on-site contractors and vendors; plan annual maintenance contracts and vendor schedules.
- Review performance metrics and support improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.
- Help develop maintenance procedures, SOPs, and best practices; provide technical guidance and coaching to technicians and junior team members.
Basic qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance environments and using CMMS.
- Strong knowledge of PPM programs; experience troubleshooting and repairing MHE and automation systems.
- Experience supervising or leading maintenance technicians.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with conveyor systems, motor controllers, and VFDs or inverters.
- Experience in MEP and base building maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Shift pattern
- Rotational shifts may include day and night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
