Business Assistant supporting a trading and operations team in UAE import/export trade.
The role involves trade documentation, contract administration, SAP data management, and import/export coordination.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, timely SAP data.
- Handle vendor registration, bank registration, and related administrative processes.
- Review and maintain business contracts and understand key commercial and trading terms.
- Coordinate import/export documentation and trade execution.
- Manage shipping documents and facilitate after-sales communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Issue sales invoices and maintain contract-related accounting records, including sales, gross profit, and costs.
- Support trade operations with accurate documentation and reporting.
- Conduct desktop research on food commodities or food trading when required.
- Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, logistics partners, and customers.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of UAE experience as a Business Assistant, Trade Assistant, or similar role in import/export operations.
- Experience handling trade and shipping documentation and commercial contracts.
- Working knowledge of SAP and data-management systems.
- Familiarity with vendor registration, bank registration, and commercial documentation.
- Strong understanding of import/export processes and international trade terms.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Preferred qualification
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
