Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
Key responsibilities
- Support commissioning engineers during testing, commissioning, start-up, and handover.
- Participate in FAT, SAT, IST, and commissioning activities.
- Assist with commissioning procedures, method statements, test sheets, and reports.
- Review project specifications, datasheets, engineering drawings, vendor documents, and functional design specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, datasheets, and manuals.
- Assist with troubleshooting and fault finding during installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Coordinate with engineering and construction teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
- Follow HSE and site safety requirements; participate in site inspections, surveys, and punch-list activities.
- Support as-built documents and project handover dossiers; develop technical competency through training and mentoring.
Must-have skills
- Electrical or electronics engineering background and testing and commissioning experience.
- FAT, SAT, and IST exposure; ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
- Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis, technical documentation and reporting, HSE awareness, and strong communication and coordination skills.
Preferred experience
- Power systems, automation, instrumentation, ELV, SCADA, or industrial projects are preferred.
- Exposure to oil and gas, utilities, infrastructure, marine, or industrial facilities is preferred.
- Site-based commissioning activities and client and vendor coordination are preferred.
