Electrical Engineer – Site in the Design / Engineering department, reporting to the Senior Manager – MEP Design.
Role location is stated as UAE and requires DEWA project experience.
Experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of experience, including at least 4 years in the UAE construction industry.
- At least 2 years with an engineering consultancy as a Project Engineer or Site Inspector.
- At least 2 years of DEWA project experience.
- English proficiency is required; Arabic is an advantage. A UAE driving license is preferred.
Technical experience
- Hands-on experience with site inspections, construction supervision, testing and commissioning, electrical installations, and low current systems.
- Experience with DEWA regulations and approvals, local authority coordination, and site quality control.
- Review experience with NCRs, RFIs, material submittals, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and O&M manuals.
- AutoCAD review, Revit review, and MS Office experience.
- Engineering consultancy, building construction, MEP coordination, and project handover exposure are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Inspect electrical works and supervise construction activities on site.
- Support testing and commissioning, authority approvals, quality control, and project handover and closeout.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, QA/QC documentation, as-built drawings, and O&M manuals.
