Coordinate day-to-day logistics activities to move goods efficiently and on time while following company procedures, contractual terms, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate shipment schedules, documentation, and communications among internal teams and external service providers.
Shipment coordination
- Arrange and follow up on inbound and outbound shipments with freight forwarders, carriers, and suppliers.
- Confirm shipment schedules, track progress, and address potential delays or disruptions.
Documentation and compliance
- Prepare and maintain invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other required shipping documents.
- Follow customs regulations, trade agreements, and company standards; maintain records for audits and reporting.
Communication and performance
- Liaise with procurement, sales, warehouse teams, and logistics providers; share timely updates and escalate shipment issues.
- Monitor on-time delivery, lead times, and freight cost efficiency; prepare routine logistics reports.
Improvement and operational accountability
- Suggest process improvements and support updated logistics tools, systems, or procedures.
- Complete planned work efficiently, report progress and deviations, resolve routine problems, and escalate complex issues.
- Follow applicable quality, policy, safety, and environmental procedures and controls.
Qualifications and competencies
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration or a relevant field.
- Fresher to 0–2 years of work experience.
- Technical and functional competencies include document filing, document management, document preparation, confidentiality, and ad hoc reporting.
