Local Litigation Partner - Leading Law Firm - Dubai

The Role

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage local litigation cases from inception to resolution, ensuring excellent legal advice and client service.
• Represent clients in courts, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution forums in the UAE.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Manage and mentor junior lawyers and support staff, fostering professional development and high performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to build strong, cohesive legal approaches.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, including business development and client retention initiatives.
• Stay abreast of changes in local laws and regulations impacting litigation and advise clients accordingly.
• Contribute to the firm’s strategic goals by developing new practice areas and expanding litigation services.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with extensive experience in UAE litigation and local legal procedures.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex and high-value litigation cases.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and inspire a team of legal professionals.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong client management and business development capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE legal system, courts, and regulatory environment.
• Highly professional, ethical, and committed to delivering outstanding legal services.
