Banking & Finance Associate

The Role

Responsibilities

• Assist senior lawyers in structuring and negotiating banking and finance transactions.
• Conduct thorough legal research related to banking regulations, finance laws, and compliance requirements in Saudi Arabia.
• Draft, review, and negotiate financing documents, including loan agreements, security agreements, and intercreditor agreements.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance and risk management in the banking and finance sector.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deal execution and client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments affecting banking and finance law.
• Support the preparation of legal opinions, memoranda, and reports related to finance transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law with specialization or strong focus on Banking and Finance.
• Licensed to practice law in Saudi Arabia or eligible for licensure.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian banking and finance laws and regulations.
• Excellent legal research, drafting, and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and team members.
• Prior experience in a reputable law firm or financial institution is highly preferred.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is an advantage.
