Banking & Finance Lawyer - International Law Firm

The Role

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on banking, finance, and related regulatory issues in Saudi Arabia and international jurisdictions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex banking and finance agreements including loan agreements, security documents, and syndicated finance transactions.
• Support clients in project finance, structured finance, and acquisition financing transactions.
• Conduct legal research and keep abreast of changes in banking and finance laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia and globally.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide integrated legal solutions tailored to client needs.
• Represent clients in negotiations with financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local and international legal and regulatory standards relevant to banking and finance activities.

Requirements

• Licensed lawyer with a degree in Law, preferably with specialization or extensive experience in banking and finance law.
• Minimum of 2 - 4 years’ experience working in banking and finance within an international or regional law firm.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian banking and financial regulations, as well as international finance laws.
• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating complex financial contracts and transactional documents.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues in a fast-paced, dynamic international environment.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and business acumen.
