Banking & Finance Lawyer - International Law Firm

The Role

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a wide range of banking and finance legal issues including loans, securitizations, project finance, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex banking and finance agreements and related documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-border teams to provide integrated legal solutions in international finance matters.
• Stay current with banking and finance laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia and relevant international jurisdictions.
• Support clients through regulatory approvals and liaise with governmental bodies as needed.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

• Law degree from a recognized university with admission to practice in Saudi Arabia or relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience specializing in banking and finance law, preferably within an international law firm environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Saudi Arabian banking and finance laws as well as international banking regulations.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
