Lobby Lounge Supervisor

Role summary

Lounge operations

• Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools and cleaning equipment and areas.
• Inspect storage for organization, FIFO use, and cleanliness; complete scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies.
• Monitor dining areas for seating availability, service, safety, and guest wellbeing.
• Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.

Team and guest service

• Inspect staff grooming and attire and correct deficiencies; help ensure staff work together as a team.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address service needs, and thank guests according to company standards.
• Maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Follow company policies, safety and security procedures, quality standards, and confidentiality requirements; protect company assets.
• Identify and recommend improvements to efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.

Preferred qualifications

• Preferred: high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Preferred: at least 2 years of related work experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No license or certification is specified.

Physical requirements

• The role requires extended standing, sitting, or walking; handling objects up to 50 pounds; and movement through confined or elevated spaces and on stairs or service ramps.
• Tasks include grasping and manipulating objects and reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Work arrangement
