Lead Software Engineer - Salesforce CPQ

Role Overview

Salesforce and Integration Delivery

• Deliver complex Salesforce implementations across multiple clouds and external systems.
• Build and debug batch, near-real-time, and real-time integrations with ERP, legacy databases, and other enterprise systems.
• Build REST and SOAP APIs and configure or troubleshoot integration middleware.
• Set up product bundles, pricing rules, quote calculation logic, and approval workflows in Salesforce CPQ.
• Partner with business analysts, stakeholders, sales, and finance teams to validate requirements and quote generation.

Data Migration and Governance

• Lead large-scale data migration workstreams, including profiling, cleansing, transformation mapping, and reconciliation.
• Create scalable and secure migration tooling and scripts for large data volumes.
• Provide technical leadership on data handling, archival implementation, master data management, and data governance.
• Manage deployments, environments, and go-live technical readiness for large-scale programs.

Technical Leadership

• Mentor developers through code reviews, coding standards, and technical execution guidance.
• Lead technical build and code review workshops and create data model documentation and integration build specifications.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on Salesforce development experience with eight to twelve years in IT.
• Advanced Salesforce CPQ configuration knowledge, including product bundles, pricing rules, and approval workflows.
• Hands-on REST API, SOAP API, and middleware integration experience.
• Background in databases, integration middleware, ERP, and enterprise systems.
• Engineering leadership experience with code reviews and coding standards.
• Enterprise data migration experience covering profiling, cleansing, transformation mapping, and reconciliation.
• Experience with secure migration tooling, data governance, master data management, archival implementation, and release management.
• Capability in performance tuning, data migration scripting, deployments, and environment management.
