Lead Software Engineer - Salesforce CPQ

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Build and configure Salesforce implementations across multiple clouds and external systems in line with agreed architecture.
• Lead engineers through code reviews, coding standards, and technical mentoring.
• Develop and troubleshoot Salesforce integrations with ERP and legacy databases using batch, near-real-time, and real-time patterns.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to clarify requirements and align technical output with business outcomes.
• Implement REST and SOAP APIs according to the API-led integration strategy.
• Configure and troubleshoot integration tools and middleware platforms.
• Apply data integration and governance controls for data quality and consistency.
• Configure Salesforce CPQ product bundles, pricing rules, quote calculation logic, and approval workflows.
• Support sales and finance teams during build and testing to validate quote generation.
• Lead large-scale data migration workstreams and develop secure tooling for large data volumes.
• Coordinate data profiling, cleansing, transformation mapping, reconciliation, archival, and master data management activities.
• Coordinate deployments, environment management, and go-live technical readiness.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of IT experience with strong hands-on Salesforce development expertise.
• Salesforce CPQ configuration expertise is required, including product bundles, pricing rules, and approval workflows.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, databases, and ERP integrations is required.
• Experience leading engineering teams, conducting code reviews, and enforcing standards is required.
• Large-scale data migration experience is required, including profiling, cleansing, transformation mapping, and reconciliation.
• Candidates need experience developing scalable and secure migration tooling and scripts for large data volumes.
• Understanding of data governance controls, data quality, and consistency is required.
• Familiarity with master data management build activities and archival implementation is required.
• Capability in release management, deployments, environment management, performance tuning, and migration script execution is required.
