Lead Software Engineer - Salesforce CPQ

Role Overview

Salesforce Engineering

• Build and configure Salesforce implementations spanning multiple clouds and external systems.
• Review code, enforce coding standards, and mentor developers on technical delivery.
• Develop and troubleshoot Salesforce integrations with ERP and legacy databases using batch, near-real-time, and real-time patterns.
• Implement REST and SOAP APIs aligned with the API-led integration strategy.
• Configure and troubleshoot integration tools and middleware platforms.
• Apply data integration and governance controls for data quality and consistency.
• Configure Salesforce CPQ product bundles, pricing rules, quote calculation logic, and approval workflows.
• Support sales and finance teams during build and testing to validate quote generation.

Migration and Release Delivery

• Lead technical build and code review sessions and produce data model documentation and integration build specifications.
• Serve as lead engineer for large-scale data migration workstreams into Salesforce.
• Develop scalable, secure migration tooling and scripts for large data volumes within platform limitations.
• Coordinate data profiling, cleansing, transformation mapping, and reconciliation activities.
• Provide technical guidance on data handling, archival implementation, and master data management build activities.
• Coordinate deployments, environment management, and go-live technical readiness for large-scale programs.

Required Experience and Skills

• 8 to 12 years of IT experience with strong hands-on Salesforce development expertise.
• Expertise in Salesforce CPQ configuration, including product bundles, pricing rules, and approval workflows.
• Proficiency in REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and middleware-based integration troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of databases, integration middleware, and enterprise ERP systems.
• Experience leading engineering teams, code reviews, and coding standards.
• Large-scale data migration skills covering profiling, cleansing, transformation mapping, and reconciliation.
• Ability to develop scalable, secure migration tooling and scripts for large volumes.
• Understanding of data governance controls, master data management, archival, and release management.
