Junior Quantity Surveyor role focused on civil construction site work.
Supports the Senior QS or Quantity Surveyor with day-to-day site commercial activities.
Measurement and valuation
- Assist with quantity take-offs, civil works measurements, BOQs, quantity summaries, and measurement sheets.
- Conduct site measurements and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor completed work against approved drawings, BOQs, and project requirements.
- Assist with interim payment applications and supporting documents.
- Verify quantities submitted by subcontractors and suppliers and help review their payment applications and invoices.
Commercial and project coordination
- Track variations, additional works, and omissions; assist with variation claims and supporting records.
- Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, planning, commercial, and project teams.
- Assist with quantity and cost monitoring, monthly progress measurements, and commercial reports.
Qualifications and skills
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or quantity surveying.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and BOQ preparation.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Immediate availability is an advantage.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,000–3,500 per month.
