Jr. QA/QC Engineer

Role overview

Quality and site responsibilities

• Implement QA/QC procedures and quality plans; conduct site inspections against drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Prepare ITPs, checklists, inspection requests, quality records, reports, and handover documentation.
• Inspect materials, equipment, products, and construction activities, including civil works, landscaping, irrigation, swimming pools, waterproofing, MEP-related works, and finishes.
• Raise and follow up on NCRs, corrective actions, and preventive actions; identify quality problems early and help prevent recurring defects.
• Review method statements, material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documents for quality.
• Coordinate quality matters, testing, audits, and inspections with project teams, consultants, clients, subcontractors, laboratories, and third-party agencies.
• Monitor supplier and subcontractor compliance and support snagging, project close-out, and handover.
• Ensure compliance with UAE standards, project specifications, and relevant international standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction, landscaping, swimming pools, infrastructure, or related projects.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
• Strong experience in site inspections and quality documentation; good knowledge of ITPs, method statements, NCRs, material inspections, and testing procedures.
• Landscape and/or swimming pool project experience is highly preferred.
• ISO 9001 / Quality Management Systems knowledge is an advantage.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong communication and coordination skills; ability to work independently with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
