SO/ Uptown Dubai is seeking a motivated, guest-focused Front Office Intern.
The internship offers practical experience in a luxury hotel and exposure to personalized service and guest relations.
Expected start date: February 2027.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and assist with check-in and check-out.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Assist with room assignments, reservations, and guest registration.
- Answer calls and emails and provide accurate hotel information.
- Learn and use the hotel's Property Management System (PMS) for daily operations.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to support guest experiences.
- Share information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Support administrative tasks, guest records, and shift handovers.
- Maintain a professional, organized, welcoming Front Desk and work with the team to deliver guest service.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Good communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and passion for hospitality.
- Professional appearance and a friendly, service-oriented approach.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Good organization, multitasking, teamwork, attention to detail, and willingness to support daily Front Office operations.
Internship experience
- Gain hands-on experience in a luxury lifestyle hotel and exposure to international service standards and daily Front Office operations.
- Receive professional guidance and mentorship from experienced hospitality professionals.
- Develop guest relations, communication, and problem-solving skills while collaborating with a multicultural team.
- Build a foundation for future hospitality career growth.
