Maintain clean guest rooms and public areas and assist guests throughout their stay.
Key responsibilities
- Assist guests and maintain rooms and public areas to hotel standards; coordinate promptly on guest requests.
- Personalize guest experiences and safeguard guest privacy and belongings.
- Close the service area safely, storing equipment in its proper place.
- Prepare trolley supplies, including amenities, cleaning products, minibar items, and clean linen.
- Inspect assigned rooms and report maintenance issues or damaged items.
- Follow health and safety rules and handle cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.
- Assist with evening turndown service and record room cleaning, restocking, and fulfilled guest requests.
- Collaborate across departments, particularly during busy periods and special events.
Experience and skills
- Service-focused personality, strong interpersonal skills, and passion for service.
- Similar experience in a five-star hotel is an asset.
- Good communication skills and fluent English.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Basic computer skills for task logging and departmental communication.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, independently and with a team.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical handling and storage; discretion with guest privacy.
