SELECTED is partnering with a global brand to appoint its first Head of E-Commerce for the Middle East.
Founding role in a new Direct-to-Consumer department, owning the brand's e-commerce site and marketplace channels across the GCC.
Accountable for sales, profitability, and customer experience.
What you will do
- Define and deliver regional e-commerce strategy, roadmap, and P&L for the website and marketplaces.
- Lead marketplace relationships, joint business plans, and annual trading terms.
- Drive pricing, promotions, assortment, and campaign planning to meet sales, margin, and market-share targets.
- Own digital merchandising, content, search, conversion, and the platform roadmap with the global digital team.
- Partner with Marketing on performance marketing, CRM, loyalty, SEO/SEM, and first-party data for acquisition and retention.
- Set up and manage fulfilment, 3PL partners, delivery, returns, and SLAs.
- Hire, build, and lead a high-performing DTC team.
What you will bring
- 10+ years in e-commerce, digital commerce, or omnichannel retail; apparel, lifestyle, sporting goods, footwear, fashion, or FMCG experience is ideal.
- E-commerce P&L ownership and a track record building or scaling a DTC or online business.
- Hands-on experience managing GCC marketplaces.
- Multinational experience with regional responsibilities and collaboration with global teams.
- Strong analytical skills using GA4, Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel.
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud or a similar platform is a plus.
- Commercial, hands-on leadership and strategic thinking; enjoys building something new.
Location and travel
- Dubai-based role with regional travel across the GCC.
Offer and start date
- Competitive salary and benefits; no salary amount or pay cadence is specified.
- Start date is early 2027.
