Kitchen operations
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and smooth service; plan menus, develop recipes, and introduce new dishes.
- Prepare and supervise high-quality dishes, maintaining consistent taste, quality, portions, and presentation.
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff; assign duties and coordinate kitchen schedules.
- Control food costs, inventory, and waste; ensure proper storage, stock rotation, and ingredient handling.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and HACCP food-safety standards.
- Coordinate food delivery with restaurant management and service teams; monitor guest feedback and make improvements.
- Maintain and safely use kitchen equipment; follow company policies and UAE food-safety regulations.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional kitchen experience, preferably as a Head Chef or Sous Chef.
- Strong menu-planning, food-preparation, presentation, team-management, kitchen-operations, costing, inventory, and waste-management knowledge.
- Leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Hotel, restaurant, or large-scale food and beverage experience is preferred.
- Culinary qualifications or food-safety certification are advantageous.
- Must be available to join immediately.
