Create a high-quality specialty coffee experience in an exclusive private members club.
The role combines technical coffee preparation, polished presentation, and personalized hospitality.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare specialty coffees, teas, and signature drinks; apply espresso, milk-texturing, latte-art, and alternative-brewing skills.
- Personalize recommendations by learning member and guest preferences.
- Maintain beverage quality through equipment calibration, consistent recipes, and quality checks.
- Contribute to seasonal drinks and evolving café experiences.
- Keep stations, equipment, and service areas clean, organized, and presentable.
- Monitor ingredient freshness, stock, inventory rotation, and wastage.
- Collaborate with Food & Beverage colleagues during peak service and Club events.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, equipment maintenance, and Club service standards.
Desired skills and experience
- 2–3 years of professional barista experience; specialty coffee, premium café, private club, or luxury hospitality experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, roasting profiles, espresso extraction, brewing methods, and milk preparation.
- Proficiency using commercial espresso machines, grinders, and specialty brewing equipment.
- A professional Barista certification or relevant Specialty Coffee or Food & Beverage qualification is preferred.
- Polished, personable, discreet member engagement; creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work quickly and consistently under pressure, with a passion for coffee craft and continued development.
