Finance responsibilities
- Record daily sales, purchase, receipt, payment, and journal-entry transactions; manage payables and receivables.
- Prepare invoices, payment requests, receipts, and supporting documents; reconcile bank, cash, card, and supplier balances.
- Monitor overdue receivables and assist with month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare financial reports, schedules, and management summaries; support budgets, forecasts, cost control, and variance analysis.
- Verify invoices, expense claims, purchase orders, and approvals; maintain organized financial documentation.
- Support payroll finance and employee expenses; coordinate with auditors, suppliers, banks, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, tax requirements, and company procedures.
- Support hospitality operations with outlet sales, inventory, wastage, commissions, and operating expenses.
- Perform other finance-related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Two to four years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
- Hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or retail experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls; experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong reconciliation, analytical, problem-solving, organization, and time-management skills; attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally, work independently, and meet deadlines; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of VAT and local financial regulations is an advantage.
