Experienced Finance Manager role at a construction and contracting company in Dubai, UAE.

Responsibilities
- Manage overall financial operations, accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Handle and review subcontractor accounts, invoices, payment certificates, retention, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, and profitability.
- Coordinate with commercial and project teams on subcontractor payments and project expenses.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and applicable accounting standards.
- Monitor outstanding payments and implement effective financial controls.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of UAE experience in a construction or contracting company.
- Strong understanding of subcontractor accounts, payment certifications, retention, and reconciliations.
- Knowledge of construction accounting, project costing, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Candidates without construction-industry experience will not be considered.
Compensation
- Salary is up to AED 10,000 per month, depending on experience.
- The stated pay range is AED 5,600 to AED 10,000 per month.
Work location
- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
