Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounting transactions.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and supplier payments.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly financial reports.
- Monitor project expenses, subcontractor accounts, and supplier invoices.
- Assist with VAT returns, financial statements, and audit documentation.
- Maintain documentation and comply with company accounting procedures.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoices, payments, and financial records.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of accounting experience in a construction or contracting company in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Experience handling subcontractor payments, supplier accounts, and project expenses.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities.
