Support restaurant and beverage service, guest care, hygiene, and daily operations.
Daily duties
- Welcome guests, escort them to tables, and present menus.
- Support taking orders, serving food and beverages, and responding to guest requests.
- Assist with table setup, mise en place, clearing, and resetting tables to established standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, bar, service stations, and assigned areas.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health and safety standards.
- Learn and follow hotel service standards, operating procedures, and brand guidelines.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service colleagues for timely food and beverage delivery.
- Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and breakdown as required.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally and refer complaints or issues to a supervisor when necessary.
- Attend departmental briefings, training sessions, and other learning activities.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the supervisor to support daily F&B operations.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related program.
- Strong interest in food and beverage operations and hospitality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Professional appearance and good personal hygiene.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by hotel operations.
- Previous hospitality experience is an advantage but is not mandatory.
