Role overview
Coordinates last-mile transport orders, drivers, customers, and delivery schedules.
Responsibilities
- Schedule shipments, deliveries, and pick-ups; monitor drivers and vehicles and update order statuses using TMS and dispatch software.
- Communicate customer updates, resolve delivery delays and route changes, and provide clear instructions to drivers.
- Plan routes using traffic, weather, and delivery windows; coordinate warehouse loading and inventory availability.
- Maintain customer, transport, driver, and delivery documentation, including bills of lading and proof of delivery.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies; escalate complex issues and prioritize urgent requests.
- Analyze delivery trends, conduct shift handovers, and support after-hours or emergency dispatch when needed.
Experience
- At least one year of experience as a dispatcher in logistics.
Pay
- Pay is SAR 3,000–5,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Jeddah.
