The dispatcher coordinates onsite technicians assigned to customer locations, considering traffic, proximity, and service urgency.
Knowledge of UAE locations and strong communication skills are important for the role.
Key responsibilities
- Assign technicians according to proximity, expertise, and availability; optimize routes and minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
- Communicate estimated arrival times and delays; coordinate with technicians, customer service, and management.
- Respond to urgent service requests and resolve scheduling conflicts or unforeseen issues.
- Maintain records of dispatched jobs, technician availability, and customer locations in the dispatching system.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
- Dispatcher or similar-role experience is advantageous.
- Exceptional knowledge of UAE locations, routes, and traffic patterns; strong written and verbal communication.
- Problem-solving ability and flexibility to adapt to changing situations and schedules.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
