About This Role
Job Summary:
SeedCo Agricultural Innovations is seeking a forward-thinking Director of Agricultural Technology to lead innovation and technology-driven farming solutions in Doha. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to drive AgTech strategy, implement modern agricultural systems, and enhance productivity through advanced technologies. What you'll do:
- Lead the development and execution of agricultural technology strategy
- Implement precision agriculture, smart farming, and data-driven solutions
- Oversee deployment of irrigation systems, sensors, automation, and digital tools
- Collaborate with agronomy, operations, and research teams
- Drive innovation in crop management, yield optimization, and sustainability
- Analyze agricultural data, performance metrics, and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with environmental and agricultural regulations
- Manage technology vendors, suppliers, and external partners
- Identify opportunities for research, development, and new technologies
- Build and lead high-performing AgTech and operations teams
Requirements:
- Experience in agricultural technology, agronomy, or farming operations
- Strong understanding of precision agriculture, irrigation systems, and farm technologies
- Ability to manage projects and cross-functional teams
- Leadership and team management experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Familiarity with agricultural data systems and digital tools
- Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, or related field
