The role focuses on scalable React frontend applications and requires collaboration across product, design, and backend teams.
Role responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, responsive, and accessible React and TypeScript interfaces.
- Translate product and design requirements into clean, maintainable frontend solutions.
- Design reusable component architectures and define frontend standards and conventions.
- Manage application state using Redux, Zustand, MobX, or Context API.
- Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs with backend teams.
- Perform code reviews focused on readability, maintainability, performance, and security.
- Mentor developers through feedback and shared best practices.
- Profile, debug, and optimize React applications across browsers and devices.
- Write unit, integration, and component tests.
- Collaborate in an agile environment and participate in technical discussions, estimations, and architecture decisions.
- Use AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and support reviews.
Minimum qualifications
- Requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Requires 8+ years of overall software design, development, testing, documentation, and debugging experience.
- Requires 5+ years of React experience with knowledge of React internals, hooks, rendering behavior, and modern patterns.
- Requires strong TypeScript, modern JavaScript, semantic HTML, accessibility, responsive layout, and CSS skills.
- Requires state management experience with Redux, Zustand, MobX, or similar libraries.
- Requires testing experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Vitest, or an equivalent.
- Requires familiarity with modern frontend tooling, Git, Node.js, AWS, CI/CD, GraphQL, and component libraries.
- Requires experience guiding frontend direction, setting standards, or mentoring junior developers.
Preferred qualifications
- A master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is preferred.
- Airlines industry experience is preferred.
