Data Program Delivery Lead - Data Solution Owner (Canada)

Role overview

Core delivery responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data products, transformation programs and data-focused workstreams.
• Own scope, timelines, budgets and staffing for successful and profitable outcomes.
• Balance business needs with technical feasibility, scalability and architectural standards.
• Translate technical capabilities into business value and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Articulate ROI, cost savings, revenue opportunities and long-term solution value.
• Drive client growth through trusted relationships and measurable delivery outcomes.

Agile team leadership

• Coach and enable high-performing, self-organizing teams through Agile principles and practices.
• Resolve impediments and support teams through complex or uncertain situations.
• Facilitate Scrum events, work prioritization, estimation and capacity planning.
• Track velocity, burndown charts and other Agile metrics to improve predictability.
• Create actionable backlogs aligned with business priorities, governance and operational playbooks.

Solution and stakeholder management

• Partner with solution architects to align business vision and technical implementation and co-own solution design.
• Engage executive sponsors, business stakeholders, client technical teams and consulting teams.
• Prepare executive summaries and presentations covering program vision, roadmap, impact and status.
• Validate solutions against requirements and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Document requirements, process flows, acceptance criteria, risks and issues through resolution.

Data platforms and technologies

• Modern data platform knowledge includes data lakes, data warehouses, ETL/ELT patterns, APIs and cloud data platforms.
• Relevant modern data stack technologies include Snowflake, dbt, Databricks, DataOps and data mesh.
• Agile and work management tools may include Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro, Asana and equivalent tools.
• Test case management tools may include TestRail, Zephyr, qTest and equivalent tools.

Required qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in technical project management, product management, technical delivery leadership, data products, analytics platforms, data warehousing or data transformation.
• Understanding of modern data platforms and architecture, including cloud data platforms.
• Project experience demonstrating expertise in Agile delivery.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfort leading executive-level communications and project-level workshops.
• Ability to manage plans, timelines, resources, budgets, dependencies, risks and issues.

Compensation

• Targeted annual base salary ranges are CAD 108,000 to CAD 132,000 for Senior Consultant and CAD 130,500 to CAD 159,500 for Principal.
• Eligible individuals may receive an annual discretionary bonus, with actual compensation depending on skills, experience, qualifications, location and other factors.
