Inflexion Technology seeks cost controllers, project-controls professionals, quantity surveyors, and commercially oriented construction professionals interested in software functional consulting.
The role works with Konstryx to help construction organizations improve project information and controls.
This is not a traditional IT or software-development role; previous software consulting experience is not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer project costing and cost-control processes and conduct requirements workshops with stakeholders.
- Document requirements for project budgets, cost structures, commitments, actual costs, procurement, forecasting, variations, cost-to-complete, financial controls, and reporting.
- Translate construction needs into Konstryx functional requirements and support solution configuration and implementation.
- Work with technical consultants and product specialists; assist with demonstrations, workshops, testing, and implementation.
- Support UAT, train users, and help business users validate agreed requirements.
- Bridge construction and technology teams, provide practical recommendations, and support relevant presales activities.
Qualifications
- Practical experience in construction, contracting, engineering, or another project-based industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction cost control, project commercial processes, budgets, commitments, actual costs, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ability to understand business processes and identify improvements; strong communication, stakeholder-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to explain construction processes to business and technical teams and comfortable using business applications, ERP systems, project-control platforms, Excel, or similar systems.
- Interest in technology and functional consulting is required; prior software consulting experience is not mandatory.
- Experience with ERP, construction management, project controls, commercial management, or cost-control software is an advantage.
