Commercial Project Manager

Role overview

Commercial and financial responsibilities

• Manage revenue, cost, gross profit, cash flow, assets, and financing instrument KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with FRG, non-conformance cost requirements, transfer pricing, tax, and export control regulations.
• Manage assets and initiate invoicing based on project progress and contractual terms; ensure timely receipt and correct allocation of payments.
• Prepare project forecasts and local and WTW reporting, involving the offshore CPM organization.
• Manage guarantees, bonds, project insurance, and foreign currency risks in alignment with hedging guidelines.

ERP implementation and collaboration

• Act as a key user and data steward for SAP/ERP implementation, including S4EUnify/AGORA, within Commercial Project Management.
• Retain and document system knowledge and train and support the wider CPM organization.
• Ensure accurate recording and migration of commercial project data into the new ERP system.
• Work with the Project Manager to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, internal stakeholders, and offshore teams to ensure commercial alignment.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related qualification.
• Proven experience as a Commercial Project Manager on long-term or complex C-category projects; service/LTSA experience is preferred.
• Experience with ERP/SAP implementations in a project business environment.
• CPM certification for C-category projects is highly desirable.

Knowledge and capabilities

• Strong background in FRG, IFRS, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, asset and cash flow management, transfer pricing, and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint; experience in data stewardship and system implementation.
• Expertise in contract and claim management, project risk and opportunity management, foreign currency hedging, and risk mitigation.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, stakeholder management and communication abilities, problem-solving skills, and adaptability.
