Job Summary
The Civil Engineer leads and oversees civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering aspects of utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System projects.
The role covers site assessments, conceptual layouts, structural designs, construction oversight, and compliance with local regulations and client standards.
The engineer ensures civil works are safe, cost-effective, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the layout, installation, and load testing of driven or screw piles for solar racking and tracking systems.
- Direct reinforcement, formwork, and concrete pouring for foundations supporting BESS containers, inverters, and transformers.
- Conduct field inspections and witness soil compaction, concrete slump, concrete cube, and pile alignment tests against the QA/QC plan.
- Enforce company and regulatory health, safety, and environmental protocols across civil execution activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 8-12 years of site execution experience.
- At least 2 years of direct field execution experience on utility-scale Solar PV and/or BESS projects.
