We are seeking a qualified and experienced **Senior Accountant (CA)** to oversee financial operations across multiple companies, ensuring statutory compliance, financial accuracy, and strategic financial management.

Job Summary

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the accounting and financial functions of multiple companies within the Group.

The role requires expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, cash flow management, audits, and compliance while supporting management with financial analysis and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilitiesfinancial Management

  • Oversee the accounting operations of multiple companies within the Group.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing process.
  • Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and intercompany transactions.
  • Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
  • Monitor budget utilization and analyze variances.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and ensure effective liquidity management.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Monitor supplier payments and customer collections.
  • Review aging reports and implement effective collection strategies.
  • Ensure timely settlement of vendor obligations.

Banking & Treasury

  • Manage banking relationships and banking facilities.
  • Handle bank reconciliations and cash management.
  • Coordinate with banks for trade finance, guarantees, LC/TR, and other banking requirements.
  • Monitor fund utilization and working capital.

Taxation & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and corporate tax requirements.
  • Prepare and review VAT returns and tax documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with IFRS and applicable UAE laws.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities.

Audit & Internal Controls

  • Lead internal and external audits.
  • Develop and strengthen internal financial controls and SOPs.
  • Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Monitor inventory valuation and stock reconciliations.
  • Review product costing and manufacturing costs.
  • Analyze project profitability and operational costs.
  • Support cost optimization initiatives.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff across multiple entities.
  • Review accounting entries and financial reports.
  • Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
  • Provide guidance on accounting standards and best practices.

Management Reporting

  • Prepare MIS reports for management.
  • Present financial performance, KPIs, and profitability analysis.
  • Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis.
  • Provide recommendations to improve operational and financial efficiency.

Requirements

  • **Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (Mandatory).**
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • Minimum **5–8 years of UAE experience** in a similar role.
  • Experience managing accounts for **multiple companies and business verticals**.
  • Strong knowledge of **IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax regulations**.
  • Experience in **Trading, Manufacturing, Construction, Interior Fit-Out, or Real Estate** industries is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software (Tally, Zoho, SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Experience dealing with banks, auditors, and government authorities.
