The Center Director coordinates and administers an ambulatory center and contributes to its strategic plan.
The role covers healthcare operations, financial management, compliance, patient experience, and staff leadership.
Responsibilities
- Act as a change agent and contribute to developing and implementing the center strategic plan.
- Coordinate center workflow and apply knowledge of healthcare strategy, business planning, operations, and financial management.
- Implement organizational policies and maintain compliance with national and international standards and accreditation requirements, including CBAHI, JCI, and CHI.
- Request medications, supplies, and equipment and recruit staff according to approved needs and policies.
- Monitor patient satisfaction, complaints, and DAMA data; develop corrective action plans.
- Track clinical and administrative indicators, identify performance trends, and address suboptimal results.
- Plan staff continuing education and training based on needs assessments.
- Manage budgets for clinic services, resources, and facilities; submit reports and contribute to committees.
- Maintain legal and regulatory compliance and a safe, functional environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Lead staff engagement initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of healthcare-sector experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role at recognized medical centers.
- MBBCh or MD medical degree required; specialty (residency) training preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic.
