The Picker consolidates customer orders by picking items from shelves in the selling area and putaway areas.
The role checks expiry dates, scans items, and ensures orders are complete and correct.
Key responsibilities
- Pick and scan ordered items; perform quality checks and follow expiry-date policy.
- Verify and confirm out-of-stock items with the section in charge.
- Give feedback about incorrect picks or product quality issues.
- Organize the putaway area and move unused trolleys and crates to storage.
- Report anomalies, including incorrect product images or locations and picking-system issues.
- Ensure locations and crates have scannable barcodes and keep goods in appropriate areas and good condition.
Required background
- High school education or diploma.
- At least two years of experience; ecommerce operations experience is preferred.
- Good spoken and written English, understanding of quality checks and retail products, and ability to work under pressure.
Additional experience
- Retail online business experience is a plus.
Workplace
- The work location is in person; the application asks about flexibility to work at any Carrefour branch.
