  • Participate in systems-improvement discussions and proposals for enhancement projects.
  • Support process changes in School systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of teaching, learning, and operations.

  • Experience using project and resource management tools such as MS Project and Wrike.

Technical and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with APIs and related technologies; knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, PHP, and Java.
  • Experience with Moodle, Salesforce/Dynamics 365, and a Student Information System such as Destiny One.
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise between business and IT in systems development and support.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, relationship-building, time-management, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong technical writing and ability to produce systems documentation, process flows, data flows, and entity relationship diagrams using UML tools such as Visio.

Hours and work arrangements

  • Regular hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Summer Friday hours are reduced by one hour from the first weekend in June through Labour Day.
  • Occasional overtime may be available and required during peak periods.
  • Vacation may be restricted according to operational requirements, with reasonable advance notice.

Credential verification

  • Candidates must provide verification of degrees, credentials, or equivalencies from accredited institutions or international equivalents at interview.
