Role Description

The Business Development Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai.

This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining partnerships with insurers and corporate clients, and expanding InsuranceMarket.ae™’s presence across key segments such as car, health, home, and business insurance.

Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, negotiating commercial terms, and closing deals that align with company objectives.

The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop growth strategies, refine product offerings, and ensure a seamless customer journey.

The role also involves tracking performance metrics, preparing reports, and providing market feedback to support continuous improvement and strategic planning.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within insurance, financial services, or related sectors.
  • Strong skills in lead generation, pipeline management, and deal negotiation, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, insurers, and key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex products in a clear and customer-friendly manner.
  • Analytical skills for market research, competitor analysis, and performance reporting to inform business growth strategies.
  • Comfort with CRM systems, sales tools, and basic MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for daily operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; professional insurance or sales certifications are an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the UAE insurance market and regulatory environment is highly beneficial; fluency in English required, additional languages are a plus.
