Role overview

Responsibilities

• Advise on P&C Commercial insurance topics including underwriting, rating, policy administration, claims, product configuration, risk, workflow, and regulation.
• Convert insurance domain knowledge into actionable outcomes for client projects and transformation efforts.
• Analyze insurance products, processes, workflows, and data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide expertise in rating models, pricing workflows, rating engines, product rules, and premium calculations.
• Oversee RFP responses, solution design, estimation, proposal creation, and client delivery.
• Support white papers, points of view, client presentations, and market-facing thought leadership.
• Define AI and GenAI use cases across underwriting, pricing, claims, servicing, fraud detection, and operations.
• Lead proofs of concept and accelerators with measurable business impact.

Required qualifications

• 13–18 years of total IT experience, including 10 or more years in P&C Commercial insurance.
• Experience in consulting, business analysis, product management, transformation, or delivery within P&C Commercial insurance.
• Proficiency in at least two P&C Commercial areas such as Pricing/Rating, Underwriting, or Policy Administration.
• Capabilities in product configuration, risk and exposure management, claims, workflow, billing, or premium processing.
• Experience with commercial rating models, algorithms, pricing workflows, bureau or ISO factors, and rating platform rollouts.
• Practical understanding of AI, Machine Learning, and GenAI/LLM applications in insurance.
• Ability to explain AI use cases, business value, adoption, responsible AI, and regulatory implications.
• Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and client communication abilities.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with GenAI tools, AI-assisted platforms, analytics software, or automation solutions.
• Knowledge of Confluence, JIRA, Rally, or comparable agile and collaboration tools.
• Experience with COTS insurance products, rating engines, policy administration systems, or system integration.
