Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Lead subject matter expertise across P&C Commercial insurance topics, including underwriting, rating, policy administration, claims, workflow, and regulatory matters.
• Convert insurance domain knowledge into actionable outcomes for client initiatives and transformation efforts.
• Examine products, processes, workflows, and data to identify improvements and provide recommendations.
• Provide expertise in rating models, pricing workflows, rating engines, product rules, and premium calculations.
• Support RFP responses, solution design, estimation, proposal creation, and successful client delivery.
• Contribute to white papers, points of view, client presentations, and market-facing thought leadership.
• Define AI and GenAI use cases across the P&C insurance value chain.
• Lead proof-of-concept projects and accelerators with measurable business impact.

Required Experience and Skills

• Bring 13 to 18 years of total IT experience, including more than 10 years focused on P&C Commercial insurance.
• Have consulting, business analysis, product management, transformation, or delivery experience in P&C Commercial insurance.
• Be proficient in at least two specified P&C Commercial insurance areas.
• Have experience with commercial rating models, algorithms, pricing workflows, bureau or ISO factors, and rating platform rollouts.
• Understand AI, Machine Learning, and GenAI or LLM applications, including value, adoption, responsible AI, and regulatory considerations.
• Demonstrate strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and client communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Direct experience with GenAI tools, AI-assisted platforms, analytics software, or automation solutions is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Confluence, JIRA, Rally, or comparable agile and collaboration tools is advantageous.
• Experience with COTS insurance products, rating engines, policy administration systems, or system integration is advantageous.
