Freelance, one-day booking to host an awards ceremony in Riyadh on 10 November 2026.
The emcee will guide the audience through the ceremony as its on-stage voice and host.
Hosting and live delivery
- Open and close the ceremony, host the program from start to finish, and engage the audience.
- Introduce speakers, guests, VIPs, and segments; present awards and manage on-stage moments with winners and presenters.
- Keep the running order on time and coordinate cues and timings with the stage manager.
- Handle last-minute changes, delays, or technical issues professionally.
Preparation and coordination
- Review the script, running order, and speaker details before the event.
- Attend the rehearsal and briefing with the client and production team.
- Check pronunciation of names and titles, especially for VIPs and senior guests.
- Work with the client and production team to ensure the ceremony runs smoothly and adapt to changes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an MC or host for awards ceremonies, corporate events, or government events.
- Fluent Arabic and English, with the ability to host bilingually on stage.
- Confident, polished stage presence suited to formal and senior audiences.
- Provide a showreel or video clips of previous hosting work.
- Available on 10 November 2026, including the rehearsal.
Ideal background
- Experience hosting awards ceremonies or high-profile events in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is an advantage.
