The Lana - Dorchester Collection is hiring an Audio-Visual Technician in Dubai.
The role supports hotel guests by maintaining and operating audio-visual and related electronic systems.
Duties
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV, protection, lighting, and conferencing equipment and systems.
- Oversee AV setup in banquet and meeting rooms and ensure equipment is fully operational.
- Repair and maintain TV, in-house movie, music, intercom, two-way radio, AV, projection, and other electronic systems.
- Diagnose electrical faults using test equipment and hand tools and correct problems.
- Follow AV preventive maintenance checklists.
- Keep the engineering area clean and orderly and coordinate with engineering staff.
- Report serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, and safety hazards to the manager.
- Comply with departmental and corporate procedures and engineering policies and standards.
- Follow job safety analyses and help maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements
- Able to set up, operate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain AV and electronic systems and equipment.
- Able to diagnose electrical-system faults using test equipment and hand tools.
- Follow preventive maintenance checklists and departmental safety procedures.
- Coordinate with engineering staff and report serious maintenance issues, unusual findings, and safety hazards.
