The role
The Analyst joins the consulting team in Abu Dhabi, supporting client engagements alongside Consultants, Managers, and Directors.
The analyst owns defined work from initial brief through a high-quality first draft.
AI tools are part of the daily workflow and must be used confidently and responsibly under confidentiality and data-handling requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Research markets, sectors, policy, and competitors across UAE, GCC, and international markets; conduct benchmarking and quantitative and financial analysis.
- Support feasibility studies, business cases, and operating-model engagements; build Excel models for cost build-ups and scenario comparisons.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and client-ready analysis; verify data, track sources, and maintain accuracy.
- Support client meetings, workshops, and interviews with minutes and action tracking; maintain project trackers, risk registers, and engagement records.
- Use AI tools for research, analysis, and drafting; contribute to internal knowledge, templates, AI workflows, and best practices.
- Support proposals, tenders, and business development through research, credentials, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 0–2 years in consulting, advisory, investment research, or a related professional environment; relevant internships are considered.
- Understanding of strategy frameworks, business analysis techniques, financial statements, cash flow, NPV, and IRR.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, analytical and quantitative ability, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Hands-on use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot for research, analysis, and drafting.
- UAE and GCC economic or government-environment awareness is advantageous; Arabic, Power BI, or Power Automate experience is also advantageous.
- The candidate should be accurate, curious about technology, comfortable taking ownership, able to structure broad briefs, and receptive to feedback.
