Role Overview
Oversee timely and accurate supplier invoice processing, payment disbursements, and vendor relationships.
Supervise accounts payable operations and contribute to financial operations and vendor partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and support the accounts payable team; provide training and mentorship to team members.
- Oversee supplier invoice processing and execute payments by check, electronic transfer, or wire transfer.
- Manage vendor relationships, resolve payment discrepancies, and coordinate with procurement and suppliers.
- Conduct vendor reconciliations and communicate account balances.
- Improve accounts payable processes and implement practices that enhance productivity.
- Maintain records and report on performance, aging balances, and payment schedules.
- Analyze accounts payable data for trends and cost-saving opportunities; update the head of finance.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies and assist with audits.
- Follow hotel health, safety, and environmental procedures and prioritize guest and colleague wellbeing.
Requirements
- Ability to supervise, guide, and support the accounts payable team.
- Ability to ensure invoice processing and payments comply with payment terms, financial regulations, and company policies.
- Ability to maintain vendor relationships and resolve inquiries or payment discrepancies.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and produce accounts payable performance, aging, and payment-schedule reports.
- Ability to support accounts payable audits and identify process improvements.
- Commitment to hotel health, safety, and environmental procedures and policies.
