The employer is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Yacht Captain to take command of a 71-meter vessel in the UAE.
The Captain will oversee safe navigation, vessel operations, overall management, safety, professionalism, and onboard service.
Requirements
- Valid STCW II certification.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Captain on large yachts.
- Experience on yachts of 50 meters or larger is preferred.
- Extensive experience operating high-tonnage vessels with advanced navigation skills.
- Strong knowledge of vessel operations, safety procedures, and maritime regulations.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse, multicultural crew.
- Valid and up-to-date STCW Basic Safety Training and all other required maritime certifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and crisis-management skills.
Compensation
- Pay is listed as AED 7,000–AED 10,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
Responsibilities
- Take command of a 71-meter yacht.
- Ensure the safe navigation and operation of the vessel.
- Manage the overall operation of the vessel.
- Maintain high standards of safety and compliance with maritime regulations.
- Lead and manage a diverse, multicultural crew.
- Maintain excellent onboard crew morale and professionalism.
- Support high standards of onboard service.
- Apply sound decision-making and crisis-management practices during vessel operations.
