Wellsite Geologist for a 12-month assignment at MUB, offshore oil and gas.

Work location
- Work location is offshore at MUB.
Salary and compensation
- Listed salary is AED 20,000; no pay cadence is specified.

Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor of Science in Geology, Earth Science, or a similar field.
- Minimum five years of oil-industry geology experience as an operations geologist, wellsite geologist, mud logger, or similar.
- Wellsite operations experience is required.
- Good knowledge of Middle East petroleum geology and operations geology, including supervision of mud logging, LWD, and wireline logging.
- Fluent spoken and written English is required, including report writing.
- Basic knowledge of and experience with industry-standard software is required.
- Geosteering experience and work experience in Middle East carbonate reservoirs are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare well prognoses and logging programs as part of an integrated team.
- Coordinate planning, logistics, and quality control with service companies as required.
- Follow up and witness at the wellsite.
- Report geology operations during drilling, logging, and coring in accordance with ADOC instructions and procedures.
- Prepare geological reports on drilling and workovers, including geological completion reports.
