Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities on the STATCOM QURM Project during the night shift.
Ensure safe, timely, and quality site execution under approved project requirements.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5–10 years of relevant civil construction experience.
- TAQA Competency as a Civil Engineer is mandatory.
- Experience in civil works execution, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and HSE compliance.
- Substation project experience involving 132kV, 220kV, 400kV, or similar utility infrastructure is preferred.
- UAE utility project and client/consultant coordination familiarity is preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and manage night-shift civil construction activities.
- Coordinate subcontractors, surveyors, QA/QC, and HSE teams for safe, timely execution.
- Monitor schedule progress and productivity targets.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, method statements, and permit requirements.
- Coordinate day-shift handover and continuity of work.
- Report daily progress, issues, resource requirements, and site constraints.
- Liaise with EDF/TAQA representatives, consultants, and project management.
- Ensure quality workmanship and resolve site execution issues.
