Job summary
Manages end-to-end procurement for assigned materials and services, focusing on timely sourcing, competitive pricing, supplier performance, and policy compliance.
Supports category management through market research, stakeholder engagement, supplier relationships, and data-driven sourcing while meeting cycle-time and KPI expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Execute the full procurement cycle from Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order for assigned materials and services.
- Manage RFQs/RFPs, evaluate commercial offers, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure best value.
- Coordinate with stakeholders on technical and commercial requirements; monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and lead times.
- Maintain procurement records in SAP/ERP and prepare reports and KPI dashboards.
- Support category management with market analysis, supplier research, and sourcing strategy implementation.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, Delegation of Authority, ethical sourcing practices, and HSE requirements.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience; transactional sourcing experience is preferred.
- Experience using SAP ERP or a similar procurement system.
- Strong commercial negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
